The arrancars are here, but still no Grimmjow?

Hey everyone.

It's been a long time since Kubo revealed that Grimmjow might return. As Kubo promised, Nel showed up (I screamed in that chapter), Harribel was shown alive, her girls got an epic entrance, even Loly and Menoly fighting back Kirge was admirable. But to be frank, I'm kinda disappointed the way things developed after that.

Nel only got a few comic relief panels, Harribel's girls were initially doing well, but then they were worfed to show how strong the quincy are-- they were defeated and brushed off. Ayon served as nothing but a power up to Kirge, so I don't know what to think of that.. The arrancars indeed fought on Ichigo's side to fight a common enemy, as Kubo said... But was this really it...?

And amidst that chaos going on in Hueco Mundo, Grimmjow never showed up. I didn't mind about that at first, but what really bugs me is that we didn't even get a mention of his name-- and for all those that don't read bleach anymore, it's been MONTHS since the arrancar appeared. I mean, really.. Pesche mentioned Harribel, and said she became the ruler of Hueco Mundo. He mentioned Starrk and Barragan, and confirmed they're dead. Most of the other unmentioned espadas are dead, so I got a feeling that it doesn't bode well for Grimmjow, even if he was never really killed.

I know A LOT of people support the theory that he's the one that cut down Kirge, but I'm not really positive about this. For one, Grimmjow is not a coward. Kirge was already with one foot in the grave, so I doubt Grimmjow would just stay hiding to finish him off. Grimmjow is proactive, he always strikes first. Attacking his opponents from behind is just not his cup of tea either. That's more Nnoitra's thing, but his sword looks different, so.. Another reason why I think it's not him is because Grimmjow would either punch a hole through his enemy or cero their head. He rarely uses a sword.

And then, Urahara's reaction.. I'm not going into powerleveling debates like "Grimmjow is not strong enough to catch Urahara off guard". The point is, Urahara was shocked. He didn't realize who slashed Kirge at first because it all happened in a flash, but when that person appeared before him it seemed like he recognized said person. Grimmjow and Urahara have never met as far as I recall, so why would he be afraid of Grimmjow? And why would Grimmjow threaten Urahara, who is wounded? Then again, that might be just me over-thinking.

*spoilers*

However, as of the latest chapter, I do fear that the mystery person in Hueco Mundo is very likely Aizen. It seemed like Juha Bach had a conversation with him, and who knows, he might have released him so Aizen can reconsider his offer to join him. Aizen is probably the only one with real motive to threaten/attack Urahara since he trolled him, and I bet Aizen would like to celebrate his escape by visiting his old friend. I wouldn't be surprised if the story pans back to Hueco Mundo and Aizen is standing in front of Urahara, saying something like "When were you under the impression I was in prison?"

Again, ANYTHING is possible. I think I've just lost a bit faith in Kubo because he keeps mistreating the arrancar. I hope I wouldn't live another day to see Harribel's fraccion mutilating themselves just to summon Ayon, or Apachi getting a sword through her neck, as if she's not a woman, but trash. Harribel being chained up in a dungeon gave people a lot of perverted fantasies, which made me sick, seriously. Loly and Menoly were just given the plot bitchslap by Kirge, and were forgotten by Lord. Pesche and Dondochakka just disappeared. And Nel? She went unconscious as soon as the fight began, as if Kubo didn't want to spend more panels on her.

And worst of all, Ichigo didn't even care to ask if Grimmjow's alive or not, as if he assumed he's dead. He just left Hueco Mundo, and so plot left Hueco Mundo.

I'd like everyone to share their thoughts on the arrancar matter, and mostly if they believe that Grimmjow's return is not just "Kubo trolling for attention" (as some haters like to claim), but something that will eventually happen and impact the story.
